MVA Box 1-9

The Ambulance and Engine Rescue were dispatched to assist Gettysburg Fire Department on an MVA with entrapment, box 1-9, Straban Township, in the 1200 Block of the Hanover Road. Gettysburg units arrived to find a 2 vehicle MVA with entrapment and confinement, with both vehicles off the roadway. The Ambulance arrived to assist with patient care of the two class 1 patients, and one class 3 patient, while the EQ pulled off 1 of its Hurst power units and combo tool to assist with extrication, and establish a landing zone for Stat Medivac. Command 1 placed the box available after 1 hour on the scene.
