VEHICLE INTO A CHURCH

Aug 31st - After several ambulance calls during the Labor Day weekend, the EQ and ambulance were hit for an MVA, reported vehicle into St. Joseph's Church at 12 E. Hanover St in the Borough, with the occupant on the run. Chief 19 (Poland)and Assistant Chief 19 ( Livelsberger) arrived simultaneously and found a large crowd around the vehicle, and confirmed dispatch as far as no occupant. The crew from the EQ controlled fluids and checked for structural damage in the Church. Due to the exceptional old stone and brick construction, there was very minimum damage to the building. PSP asked the ambulance to do a drive around in the neighborhood due to the blood trail left by the driver. Finding nothing, the box was placed available at 00:31
