New Training building

Work has begun on the new training building located at the rear of the station. This building was our former carnival stage which we are converting into a training building. When completed the building will offer a roof vent simulator, wall vent simulator, bailout simulator, and forcible entry door. The Department has purchased a smoke simulator for the interior, and a 24X24 concrete pad will be attached for placement of 2 vehicles for Department vehicle rescue trainings. The completion of this building will also allow us a place for ladder trainings,confined space, and search and rescue, along with SCBA trainings.
Easter MVA in the Borough

Bonneauville and Wellspan units were dispatched for a MVA in the Borough at 18:21 hours. Chief 19 (Poland) arrived within a minute to find a 2 vehicle MVA with several passangers involved. Engine Rescue 19 and Ambulance 19A arrived within minutes and it was determined that all vehicle occupants were refusals for medical treatment. Chief 19 held the box to Bonneauville units.
Oder of gas in the home

Engine Tanker 19, along with ambulance 19A and the Chief, responded on a call for an odor of gas in the home. Upon arrival, it was found to be a malfunctioning kerosun heater that had been moved to the rear enclosed porch of the 3 unit rental. Units checked the home with a meter, and ventilated. A/C 19 (Renoll) onboard ET19 placed the box available within 20 minutes
MVA in the Township

Bonneauville and United units were dispatched for a single vehicle off the roadway at 06:08 hours. Former Chief Herr was on the scene advising of a class 2 patient with no confinement and a pole and wires down. The single patient was transported by ambulance 19A for treatment. PSP completed a full traffic investigation.
Rescue Engine returns with upgrades

The Rescue Engine returned from IMApparatus today with several upgrades. New front wheels and tires, along with all new shocks, springs, and alignment were completed. We also had the addition of coffin boxes on both sides of the unit. The ladders, and hard sleeve, along with pike poles were placed in the bed of the unit, making room for the boxes, including 4 seperate boxes with lids and interior lighting. New Wheel covers are ordered, and new graphics for the side of the boxes are in the works, and should be completed by months end.
